Frequently asked questions about dinosaurs and periods
Which period should we start with?
The Cretaceous is the easiest start, because Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops already feel familiar. Then work backwards through the Jurassic and the Triassic.
Did all dinosaurs live at the same time?
No. Stegosaurus had been extinct for around 80 million years before Tyrannosaurus appeared — which is why every dinosaur here is placed in its own period.
